Professional Qualifications & Experience
Sessions are guided by Kat, who holds certifications in Psychology and Counselling, with specialized training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Kat has 5 years of experience working with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and cPTSD, including support provided through the NDIS for people with ADHD, Autism, Acquired Brain Injury, and cognitive disabilities.

Our story

Grounding Mindfulness was born from the belief that emotional regulation isn’t about controlling or suppressing what we feel, it’s about expanding our capacity to feel safely, and respond with clarity, strength, and care. My creative background taught me that real growth happens when we engage the mind, body, and intuition. I created this space for people navigating stress, disconnection, and emotional burnout, especially those who feel that typical mental health support hasn’t fully met their needs or honoured their whole self.
At Grounding Mindfulness, we honour the wisdom you already carry within you, and believe that true transformation begins when we embrace our whole selves, not just our symptoms. You're not alone here. This is a space for grounding, growing, and real transformation.
